Kaleva Church

Kaleva Church in Tampere, Finland, is a prime example of post-war Finnish modernism by architects Reima and Raili Pietilä. Built from 1964–1966, it features 17 unique, hollow concrete towers and full-height windows. The fish-shaped floor plan reflects Christian symbolism, earning it the nickname "Silo of the Souls." Its interior includes Finnish pine and a 16-meter organ. Since 2006, it’s been protected under the Church Act as a modernist landmark.
