The Swan Theatre
The Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, or the "Swan Theatre," in Stratford-upon-Avon, was originally built along the River Avon in 1875 as part of an international campaign to build a theatre in the town of Shakespeare’s birth. The theatre maintains the original red-brick Gothic façade and hosts productions of Shakespeare's plays.
