Fontaine Saint-Michel

The Fontaine Saint-Michel is a large and majestic Neo-Renaissance monument, erected between 1858 and 1860 in the Place Saint-Michel, in the Latin Quarter. Dominated by the archangel Michael vanquishing the demon, it is adorned with red marble columns, winged dragons, and statues symbolizing cardinal virtues.
