Lupanare di Pompei
The Lupanar of Pompeii is an ancient brothel with frescoed rooms and stone beds. The rooms on the upper floor were accessible by a staircase and closed by curtains. In this place, prostitutes offered their services, showcasing social tolerance towards prostitution in ancient Rome.
