Williamstown Timeball Tower
The Timeball Tower in Williamstown, built in 1849 from local bluestone, served as a lighthouse and later as a rare working timeball tower from 1861 to 1926. It remains one of the world's few historic timeball towers, key for accurate maritime navigation.
