St. Mathew’s Church

The Evangelical-Augsburg Church of St. Matthew in Łódź is a neo-Romanesque temple built between 1909 and 1928. It impresses with its monumental dome, galleries, and 60-voice organs. Inside, historical time capsules are hidden. The place is not freely accessible – entry requires prior appointment, preferably during a Candlelight concert.
