Praça Luís de Camões

Praça Luís de Camões is a pleasant open space in Lisbon, inaugurated in 1867 in honor of the Portuguese poet. It has a cast bronze statue in his honor and eight other smaller statues of national personalities linked to Literature and Science. It is a busy meeting place and the scene of many events.
