Sweet House Foundation

This Italianate mansion was built in the mid-1860s by Martin Sweet for him and his family, wife Desdemona Sweet and their three children Mattie, Cassius, and Frank. It is now a downtown event venue, and is the perfect setting for birthday parties, showers, weddings, wakes, corporate meetings and celebrations of all kinds. It is open for tours, by appointment.
