Teatro Romano

The Theater of Fiesole is an archaeological site built in the first century B.C. with a semicircular plan that takes advantage of the natural slope of the land. The cavea could hold nearly three thousand spectators and is divided into nineteen tiers of seats divided by five small staircases. It houses a museum with exhibits from the excavations in Fiesole and the surrounding area.
