The Royal Danish Academy of Music

The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen is housed in Radiohuset, a Danish modernist landmark by Vilhelm Lauritzen, completed in 1945. Once DR's headquarters, it became the Academy's home in 2008. The building features Greenlandic marble, interiors by Lauritzen and Finn Juhl, and a concert hall with 1,058 seats and a 1946 Marcussen organ. It was designated a protected historic site in 1994.
