About Carlita

Carlita is a distinguished Turkish-Italian DJ and producer celebrated for her innovative fusion of rich cultural heritage and cutting-edge electronic music. With a solid foundation in classical training, she is a proficient multi-instrumentalist, adept in drums, cello, bass, and electric guitar. This versatility allows Carlita to seamlessly integrate live instrumentation with electronic elements in her productions, creating a unique and dynamic soundscape.

Her work draws inspiration from a diverse range of musical traditions, notably Turkish psychedelia and classic rock ’n’ roll, enriched by the use of synthesizers, carefully curated sampled sounds, and atmospheric field recordings collected during her extensive global travels. This eclectic blend forms the backbone of her signature style—marked by pulsating, rhythmic beats and a worldly, textured approach that defies conventional genre boundaries.

Whether performing live or working in the studio, Carlita crafts immersive and unpredictable musical journeys that captivate audiences with their emotional depth and vibrant energy.
