About Nando Reis

Nando Reis, born in São Paulo in 1963, is a celebrated Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has left a lasting mark on the country’s music scene. He first rose to fame as a founding member, bassist, and vocalist of the influential rock band Titãs, pioneers in Brazil’s alternative rock movement throughout the 1980s. With socially conscious lyrics and innovative arrangements, Titãs became a cornerstone of Brazilian rock, shaping the sound of a generation.

After a successful tenure with the band, Nando Reis launched a prolific solo career that highlighted his talents as a composer, guitarist, and producer. Seamlessly blending rock, pop rock, and elements of MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), his solo work is renowned for its poetic lyrics and memorable melodies. Over the years, Reis has released several acclaimed albums, contributing significantly to Brazilian popular music.

His artistic evolution and heartfelt storytelling have earned him prestigious awards, including Latin Grammy honors and multiple MTV Video Music Brasil wins. Beyond the studio, Nando maintains a strong connection with fans through his engaging YouTube channel, where he regularly shares new content every Wednesday and Friday at noon.
