MC Hariel, born in 1997 in Vila Aurora, São Paulo, stands as a pivotal figure in Brazil’s contemporary funk scene. Launching his musical career in 2011, he quickly transformed from an aspiring artist into one of Brazilian funk’s most influential voices. Personal tragedy marked his early life, notably the loss of his father at a young age, a hardship that deeply shaped his artistic vision. Hariel channels these experiences into heartfelt lyrics that explore themes like resilience, social realities, love for his favorite football team Corinthians, and the nuances of everyday life.

Known for fusing traditional Brazilian funk with elements of trap and rap, MC Hariel has crafted a distinctive sound that resonates across diverse audiences. His breakthrough came through homemade videos that captured the attention of prominent label GR6, leading to hits such as "Lei do Retorno" featuring Don Juan (2015), "Maçã Verde," "Cracolândia," and "O Fim é Triste."
