About Mc Rodolfinho

Mc Rodolfinho, born Rodolfo Martins Costa in Osasco, Brazil, has established himself as a compelling voice in Brazil’s funk scene over the past decade. Growing up in a musical household—his father was a singer whose rehearsals and performances surrounded him—Rodolfo developed a deep passion for rhythm and lyrical storytelling from an early age. Around 2010, he began exploring his artistic inclinations, initially gravitating toward rap and breakdancing communities. However, it was the influence of the late MC Zói de Gato, a peer who demonstrated that young artists could succeed in funk, that ultimately inspired Mc Rodolfinho to embrace the genre fully.

Renowned for blending catchy rhythms with authentic, relatable lyrics, Mc Rodolfinho has delivered several hit singles that resonate across Brazil’s urban music landscape. Tracks like "Chora Boy," "Os mlk é Liso," and "Roda Gigante" have marked his rise in popularity and showcased his flair for dynamic storytelling. In September 2020, he solidified his place in the genre with the release of his debut album, *Contrariando Estatísticas* (2020), a project that highlights his evolution as a funk artist and his commitment to defying the norms of Brazil’s music industry. Through his energetic sound and engaging narratives, Mc Rodolfinho continues to be a driving force in funk’s vibrant evolution.
