About Malta

Malta is a distinguished Brazilian alternative and pop rock band that emerged in 2013, quickly carving out a significant presence in Brazil’s vibrant music scene. Known for their powerful blend of post-grunge energy and emotionally resonant lyrics, the band has garnered critical acclaim, including multiple Latin Grammy nominations and prestigious gold, platinum, and diamond certifications. Over the past decade, Malta has cultivated a devoted nationwide fanbase, bolstered by memorable performances and recognition such as the Prêmio Jovem Brasileiro.

In 2023, marking ten years of artistic growth, Malta released *Acústico Malta*, their first fully acoustic album. This project offers reinvented versions of their most beloved hits, enriched by intimate arrangements featuring guest musicians on piano, pedal steel, and guitar. Recorded in a warm, inviting atmosphere, the album delivers a fresh emotional depth that honors the band’s musical journey while exploring a more vulnerable sound.
