About My Sleeping Karma

My Sleeping Karma is a German instrumental psychedelic rock band originating from Aschaffenburg, renowned for their hypnotic blend of stoner rock, progressive, and post-rock elements infused with world music and Eastern-inspired melodies. Since their formation, they have distinguished themselves with richly textured, vocal-free compositions that create immersive and trance-like soundscapes. Their music seamlessly combines the heaviness of doom and space rock with contemplative, meditative atmospheres, offering listeners a transcendent sonic journey.

The band’s evolving craftsmanship is evident across several critically acclaimed albums, including "Satya" (2009), "Moksha" (2012), and "The Low Pressure Circus" (2017). Each record highlights their commitment to exploratory sound design and intricate instrumentation, further cementing their place in the underground psychedelic and stoner rock scenes. Through extensive touring and memorable festival appearances across Europe, My Sleeping Karma has built a loyal fanbase, celebrated for live performances that match the depth and intensity of their studio work.

Combining crushing riffs with hypnotic grooves, My Sleeping Karma continues to push the boundaries of instrumental heavy music, proving that even without lyrics, music can convey profound emotion and energy. Their unique fusion of progressive soundscapes and Eastern motifs has solidified them as a cornerstone in modern psychedelic and progressive rock.
