About Vulgo FK

Vulgo FK, born Filype Kaique da Silva, is a Brazilian rapper who began his musical journey at the age of sixteen. He first gained widespread recognition by creating innovative acapella funk renditions of American rapper Roddy Ricch’s hits, a creative approach that quickly expanded his fanbase and opened doors for collaborations with prominent artists within the Brazilian rap scene. In 2017, Vulgo FK released his debut single, the R&B track "Meu Bem," marking his official entry into the music industry.

His breakthrough moment arrived when the late MC Kevin personally reached out via video call to praise his talents and propose a partnership, a pivotal connection that propelled him into mainstream success. Since then, Vulgo FK has solidified his presence with hit songs such as "Oi, Como Cê Tá?," "Meca Cereja," "Dolce & Gabbana," "Sal e Pimenta," "Tropa do Mais Novo," and "Ballena." His distinctive style and lyrical prowess have earned him over 500 million views on YouTube, highlighting his influence in contemporary Brazilian rap.

In 2023, Vulgo FK released his highly anticipated album *Perdas & Ganhos*, which debuted at number three on the Global Top Albums chart. Impressively, fourteen of the album’s fifteen tracks featured in Spotify’s Top 200 in Brazil, marking the tenth-largest album debut in the country’s history. This milestone firmly establishes Vulgo FK as one of Brazil’s most exciting and influential rising stars in the Latin music scene.
