About anaiis

French-Senegalese singer-songwriter anaiis has crafted a distinctive voice shaped by a rich, multicultural journey across the globe. Born and raised between Toulouse, Dublin, Dakar, and Oakland, California, she eventually established her musical home in London. Anaiis refined her creative skills at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts before dedicating herself fully to music. She first captured attention with her debut single, "Nina," a powerful anthem of personal and collective liberation.

Her acclaimed project, *Darkness at Play* (executively produced by Grammy winner Om’Mas Keith), explores profound themes of social injustice, hope, and the healing power of the divine feminine. Anaiis’ sound blends soulful storytelling with transcendent melodies, reflecting her diverse cultural influences and spiritual depth. Her artistic path also includes a significant month-long residency in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, where she reconnected with her Senegalese roots through Afro-Brazilian traditions, enriching the emotional and sonic layers of her work.

Beyond recording, anaiis has expanded her influence by supporting Daniel Caesar on his UK tour and sharing her insights at TEDxLondonWomen.
