About 47ter

47Ter is a French musical trio from Bailly, Yvelines, composed of Pierre-Paul, Blaise, and Lopes. Emerging in 2019, they quickly made a mark on the French music scene with their debut album *L’Adresse* (2019). The album’s success, reaching platinum status, stemmed from their distinctive blend of rap, chanson, and melodic pop. This unique fusion, coupled with clever wordplay and infectious hooks, helped the group carve out a fresh urban pop sound that defies traditional genre boundaries.

Prior to their album breakthrough, 47Ter gained widespread online recognition through their creative video series "On vient gâcher tes classiques," where they reimagined classic songs with a modern twist. Their name itself reflects a deep connection to their roots, inspired by the address of their neighborhood’s community hall.

Their follow-up album, *Légende* (2021), faced setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which slowed their momentum. However, 47Ter returned in 2023 with a mature and refined sound, demonstrated in their latest release that opens with an “Intro” revisiting their musical journey. Throughout their career, the trio has balanced accessibility with innovation, selling out concerts and steadily growing their fan base. With a reputation for blending witty lyrics and charming melodies, 47Ter remains a compelling and evolving presence in contemporary French music.
