About Get the Shot

Hailing from Quebec City, Canada, Get the Shot has established itself as a powerful force in the hardcore and metal scenes since its formation in 2009. The band fuses thrash, death metal, and hardcore punk influences from legendary acts like Hatebreed, Slayer, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, and Machine Head to create an intense and uncompromising sound that resonates with fans worldwide. Their robust discography includes standout albums such as "Perdition" (2012), "No Peace In Hell" (2014), "Infinite Punishment" (2017), and the critically acclaimed "Merciless Destruction" (2022), which earned a JUNO Award nomination.

Known for relentless energy and a punishing sonic assault, Get the Shot has performed over 700 concerts across three continents. Their appearances at prestigious festivals like Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Resurrection Fest, Jera On Air, Summerbreeze, and Groezrock have cemented their reputation as electrifying live performers. Beyond their music, the six-member group upholds core hardcore values of authenticity, integrity, and equality. Their lyrics confront the brutal realities of a world marked by rampant individualism and social injustice, channeling collective anger into fierce, raw soundscapes that inspire resilience and defiance. Get the Shot continues to push boundaries within the hardcore community, balancing homage to their influences with a distinct, ferocious identity that endures.
