About Carmen y María

Carmen y María are a vibrant Spanish duo whose music artfully intertwines the soulful rhythms of traditional flamenco with the contemporary beats of modern urban soundscapes. Their distinctive style thrives on infectious grooves and heartfelt melodies, creating a seamless fusion that bridges their neighborhood roots with a fresh, sophisticated musical expression. The pair first captured widespread attention through a series of acoustic videos shared on social media, which resonated strongly with both fans and acclaimed artists such as Alba Molina, Alejandro Sanz, David de Jacoba, and La Plazuela. These endorsements led to meaningful collaborations and shared performances during recent tours, further solidifying their presence in Spain’s evolving music scene.

As they prepare to launch their debut album, accompanied by a collection of compelling singles, Carmen y María continue to carve out a unique sonic identity that honors their cultural heritage while embracing innovative production techniques. Their sound not only champions flamenco’s deep-rooted cadences but also integrates bold, contemporary textures that appeal to a broad audience seeking authenticity combined with modern flair. With a steadfast commitment to artistic integrity, Carmen y María stand out as compelling voices in contemporary Spanish music, offering a fresh perspective that resonates long beyond the stage.
