About Boston 168

Hailing from the industrial heart of Turin, Italy, Boston 168 is the innovative duo of Sergio Pace and Vincenzo Ferramosca, known for pioneering a fresh take on Acid Techno. Rooted in a city once dominated by factory noise and mechanical rhythms, Boston 168 channels the echoes of Turin’s manufacturing past into a dynamic electronic soundscape. Their music is deeply influenced by the transformation of abandoned industrial plants into vibrant rave venues, reflecting a broader cultural shift where techno becomes a vessel for identity and expression among a generation shaped by post-industrial realities.

Boston 168’s approach is both experimental and precise, operating like a sonic laboratory where analog instruments meet meticulous sound design. Drawing inspiration from legendary factory cities such as Detroit and the UK’s industrial hubs, they dissect and reconstruct the hypnotic, raw textures of Acid Techno with surgical precision. This blend of analog warmth and techno’s mechanical roots results in innovative tracks that push genre boundaries while paying homage to the working-class ethos embedded in electronic music’s history.

Through years of dedicated craftsmanship, Boston 168 has carved out a distinctive niche within the electronic landscape, creating forward-thinking dancefloor experiences that resonate with authenticity and rigor. Their work stands as a testament to how industrial heritage can be transformed into cutting-edge art, continually redefining what Acid Techno can be.
