About Verde 70

Verde 70 is one of Ecuador’s most iconic and beloved pop rock bands, with a career spanning over 15 years. Renowned for their distinctive Latin pop rock sound, they have played a significant role in uniting audiences across Ecuador and the broader Latin American music scene. Their rich discography includes numerous albums, EPs, and singles that have firmly established their presence at the forefront of Ecuador’s vibrant rock and pop landscape.

Following a successful comeback, Verde 70 is currently in the midst of producing a highly anticipated new album, scheduled for release between 2024 and 2025. This project marks a fresh chapter for the band, featuring longtime member Darío Castro alongside new lead vocalist Lisa María. The album is being crafted across New York, Quito, and Madrid, combining international influences under the expert direction of producer Didi Gutman and Grammy-winning engineer Héctor Castillo. This approach promises a refined yet innovative sound that honors their musical roots while exploring new creative horizons.
