About Mike Millrain

Mike Millrain has been a pivotal figure in the underground house and garage music scenes since the mid-1990s. Throughout his career, he has crafted a distinctive sound under various aliases such as Soul Rebels, Large Joints, Urban Myths, D-Base, and DJ South Central, each reflecting different dimensions of his versatile production style. His influence extends beyond the studio, with notable radio residencies on London’s House FM and Upfront FM, and regular monthly performances at iconic venues including Twice As Nice, Cookies & Cream, and Freedom at Bagelys Warehouse—key hubs in the UK’s vibrant dance scene.

In 2014, Millrain founded Soul Revolution Records, a label dedicated to releasing his own projects as well as supporting like-minded underground artists. His discography spans reputable labels like Simma Black, Country Club Disco, and Form & Function, underscoring his widespread appeal across the electronic music landscape.
