About Los Pericos

With a legacy spanning over 37 years and more than 3,200 live shows, Los Pericos have firmly cemented their place as pioneers in Latin reggae-rock music. Founded in 1987 in Argentina, this iconic band quickly gained recognition for their unique fusion of reggae rhythms and rock energy, creating a sound that resonates across generations and borders. Their infectious style propelled them to the top of Spanish-language music charts, earning widespread acclaim throughout Latin America, the United States, Spain, and even Russia.

Los Pericos’ dynamic performances have regularly filled stadiums and theaters, headlining major festivals and captivating diverse audiences worldwide. Their enduring appeal lies in their ability to blend infectious grooves with meaningful lyrics, a combination that has become their trademark.

In 2022, they released "Viva Pericos!", an album that reimagines beloved Latin classics through their distinctive musical lens. This project highlights their deep respect for Hispanic musical heritage while infusing each track with fresh, vibrant energy that reflects their evolution over decades. Signed with Universal Music Group, Los Pericos continue to influence and inspire, standing as a cornerstone of Argentine music and a defining force in Latin reggae-rock culture.
