About Hällas

Hällas, a Swedish quintet formed in 2011, has distinguished itself within the progressive rock scene through a unique fusion they call "Adventure Rock." Blending 1970s-inspired progressive rock, metal, and folk influences, their sound is characterized by twin guitars, vintage synthesizers, and richly woven mythological storytelling. The band invites listeners to escape the mundane and journey into elaborate fantasy worlds crafted through cinematic, concept-driven albums.

Hällas first gained widespread recognition with their debut album, "Excerpts From A Future Past" (2017), propelled by the hit single "Star Rider," which resonated deeply with prog and hard rock audiences worldwide. Their follow-up, "Conundrum" (2020), not only expanded their adventurous soundscape but also earned them a Swedish Grammy nomination, cementing their status in contemporary progressive music circles. The third installment, "Isle of Wisdom" (2022), further showcased their evolving musicianship and storytelling prowess, solidifying a dedicated global fanbase.
