About Death Café

Hailing from South London, Death Café is a dynamic alternative rock trio that has rapidly carved out a name for themselves with their unapologetically raw and high-energy sound. Drawing inspiration from the hip-swinging swagger of Queens of the Stone Age, the gritty, stripped-down riffs reminiscent of The White Stripes, and the fierce intensity of IDLES, Death Café delivers music that is simultaneously chaotic and irresistibly catchy. Their approach melds loud, loose instrumentation with addictive hooks, creating a sound that feels both refreshingly unpolished and meticulously crafted.

Death Café officially announced their arrival to the music scene with the release of their debut single, "West Lies Ahead" (2023), a track that perfectly encapsulates their blend of ferocity and melody. The single quickly positioned them as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging acts, earning acclaim for its fierce energy and compelling songwriting. Known for their visceral and high-octane live performances, Death Café channels a no-nonsense attitude, embodying a new wave of British rock that refuses to conform or play it safe. With their distinctive, dirty aesthetic and unapologetic presence, Death Café continues to push boundaries, promising to leave a lasting impact on the modern alternative rock landscape.
