About High Fade

High Fade is a vibrant Scottish funk-rock trio hailing from Edinburgh, formed in 2018. Consisting of Harry Valentino (guitar and vocals), Oliver Sentance (bass), and Calvin Davidson (drums and vocals), the band has carved out a unique sound by seamlessly blending funk, rock, punk, disco, jazz, and soul. Their high-energy performances have fueled a relentless touring schedule, with over 1,500 shows across the UK, USA, Europe, and beyond, including memorable highlights such as performing three sets in a single day at Glastonbury and closing stages at Boomtown Festival.

Known for their electrifying live presence, High Fade built their reputation through vibrant street performances and busking, capturing raw, infectious energy that has translated powerfully to major festival stages. Their debut album, "Life’s Too Fast" (2022), was released independently on their own RPN Records label. Against industry norms and turning down major-label offers, this DIY approach led the album to chart in multiple countries, including the UK, Ireland, Germany, and the USA.

With a strong grassroots following, High Fade boasts over one million followers and more than 500 million online views. Their innovative blend of groove-heavy funk and sharp rock has attracted admiration and endorsements from notable artists like Tenacious D’s Jack Black, Cypress Hill, Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine. Continually pushing creative boundaries, High Fade remains a force on the global stage, delivering funk-infused dance-floor anthems that are impossible to ignore.
