About Track Dogs

Track Dogs is a dynamic and eclectic quartet formed in Madrid in 2006, consisting of two Irishmen, an Englishman, and an American—Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown, and Robbie K. Jones. Drawing their name from New York’s subway culture, the band crafts an unmistakable sound that defies easy categorization. Their music blends elements of Americana, bluegrass, Latino rhythms, folk, and blues, enriched by intricate vocal harmonies and diverse instrumentation, including acoustic guitar, electric bass, trumpet, cajón, banjo, ukulele, and mandolin.

Known for their sunlit melodies that often unveil darker emotional themes beneath infectious rhythms, Track Dogs have built a dedicated international following through their energetic live performances. They have graced prominent stages at festivals such as Glastonbury, the Shrewsbury Folk Festival, and Wickham Music Festival, securing their place as a formidable live act.

Their acclaimed albums "Where to Now?" (2022) and "Blind Summits & Hidden Dips" (2023) exemplify their genre-defying approach and evolving artistry. In late 2024, they delighted listeners with a distinctive seven-track Christmas album, while their forthcoming 2025 release, "The Essential Track Dogs: Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered," promises a comprehensive collection of nearly forty songs, including originals, covers, and reimagined classics—highlighting over a decade of creative growth. Based in Spain, Track Dogs continue to transcend musical boundaries, celebrating a rich and unique sonic identity that resonates globally.
