About Blind Yeo

Blind Yeo is an innovative musical collective emerging from Cornwall, England, renowned for their eclectic fusion of psychedelic rock, krautrock rhythms, folk textures, and groove-driven soundscapes. The project took root during the reflective solitude of the COVID-19 lockdown, initially as a solitary creative outlet. However, it was during a pivotal residency at The Cornish Bank in Falmouth in 2022 that Blind Yeo truly flourished. Set within the atmospheric vaults of this newly opened venue, the residency immersed the group in Cornwall’s burgeoning underground music scene, catalyzing their evolution into a dynamic ensemble of collaborators.

Rather than a fixed lineup, Blind Yeo thrives as a fluid, ever-changing collective, continuously pushing musical boundaries and redefining their sonic identity. Their distinctive, shapeshifting style seamlessly weaves hypnotic krautrock beats with psychedelic layers, earthy folk influences, and infectious grooves. This versatility not only showcases their experimental spirit but also channels the unique cultural energy of Cornwall’s vibrant artistic community.

With a commitment to constant reinvention and collaboration, Blind Yeo embodies an ongoing artistic journey. Their ability to blend diverse genres while maintaining a strong Cornish character has positioned them as a standout force in the region’s contemporary music landscape, promising continued innovation and captivating performances for years to come.
