About aLex vs aLex

aLex vs aLex is the artistic alias of Sofia Insua, a Guatemalan-born singer, composer, and art researcher who divides her creative life between New York City and Berlin. This solo project offers a deeply personal and immersive exploration of the interplay between emotional expression, physicality, and sound, distinguishing it from her other musical ventures. Since 2017, Insua has been actively involved as the lead vocalist and composer of Easy Easy and later launched ERA C in 2020, both collaborative projects that showcase different facets of her artistic range. However, aLex vs aLex serves as an intimate platform where she delves into the nuanced emotional landscape of music with a fresh perspective. Her EP "cliché" (year unspecified) stands out as a heartfelt tribute to the love song, embracing vulnerability and timeless themes of romance through a singular sonic lens. Through aLex vs aLex, Sofia Insua continues to push artistic boundaries, weaving together her multidisciplinary passions in performance, composition, and sonic research to create music that resonates with sincerity and a fearless embrace of human emotion. This distinctive blend of cultural influences and creative disciplines positions aLex vs aLex as a compelling figure in contemporary music, captivating audiences with an innovative and evolving sound.
