About Blue Man Group

Blue Man Group is a groundbreaking performance collective that has captivated global audiences since their debut at New York City’s Astor Place Theatre in 1991. Renowned for their iconic blue-painted characters and inventive custom instruments—such as the PVC Pipe and Drumbone—they blend experimental musical theater with the energy of a rock concert. Their unique shows combine percussion-driven music, visual art, humor, and multimedia innovation, creating an immersive sensory experience unlike any other.

Beyond their electrifying live performances, Blue Man Group has established a distinctive musical legacy through their studio albums. Their debut album, "Audio" (1999), showcases the creative sounds of their handmade instruments. This was followed by "The Complex" (2003), featuring collaborations with artists like Tracy Bonham and Dave Matthews, and "THREE" (2016), marking their 25th anniversary. In October 2023, they expanded their repertoire with "Overjoy to the World," a festive EP featuring nine reimagined holiday classics—including "Jingle Bells" and "Feliz Navidad"—arranged by longtime collaborator Jeff Turlik.

With ongoing residencies in major cities like New York, Las Vegas, Boston, and Chicago, Blue Man Group continues to push the boundaries of live entertainment.
