About Evi Vine

Evi Vine is a British musician known for her ethereal vocals and immersive soundscapes that blend darkwave, post-rock, and ambient influences into a captivating alternative style. Born in Belfast and raised in London, she embarked on her musical journey early, drawing inspiration from artists like PJ Harvey and Cocteau Twins. Vine first introduced her distinctive sound with the release of her debut album, "...And So The Morning Comes" (2012), which helped her gain recognition through notable live performances, including appearances on ARTE TV and a sold-out debut concert in Germany.

Her sophomore album, "Give Your Heart To The Hawks" (2015), marked a significant artistic development, featuring collaborations with producer Richard Formby and legendary mixing engineer Phill Brown, renowned for his work with Talk Talk and Beth Gibbons. Continuing to evolve, Vine’s third album, "Black//Light//White//Dark," embraced heavier post-rock elements and featured a notable collaboration with Simon Gallup, bassist of The Cure.

In 2023, Evi Vine broadened her creative horizons as a founding member of the post-rock collective Silver Moth, contributing vocals and bass to their critically acclaimed album "Black Bay," released through Bella Union/PIAS. Partnering with Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite, this project signaled a vibrant new chapter in Vine’s career, cementing her growing influence within the alternative music landscape.
