About Phoebe Bridgers

Phoebe Bridgers is a Los Angeles-based indie folk-rock musician celebrated for her haunting vocals and deeply introspective songwriting. After refining her craft at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, she made her breakthrough in 2015 with the release of her debut 7-inch single "Killer" on Ryan Adams’ Pax AM label. Bridgers quickly gained attention with a series of evocative singles, including "Smoke Signals," "Funeral," and the critically acclaimed "Motion Sickness," which set the stage for her full-length debut album, *Stranger in the Alps* (2017), released via Dead Oceans.

Her music blends dreamy indie pop melodies with raw, poignant lyricism, drawing frequent comparisons to contemporaries like Julien Baker, Conor Oberst, and Julia Jacklin. In 2018, Bridgers further expanded her artistic impact by forming the supergroup Boygenius alongside Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. Their self-titled EP showcased her ability to craft intimate yet powerful collaborative work, earning widespread critical praise.

Phoebe Bridgers continues to captivate listeners with her emotionally charged storytelling and atmospheric soundscapes, solidifying her place as one of indie folk-rock’s most compelling voices.
