About Eduardo Costa

Eduardo Costa, hailing from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, is a prominent figure in Brazil’s sertanejo music scene. He rose to national fame in 2006 with his debut CD/DVD, which featured romantic hits like "Me Apaixonei" and "Amor de Violeiro." His energetic style and heartfelt lyrics quickly resonated with audiences across the country. In 2010, his live DVD *De Pele, Alma e Coração* showcased the standout single "Quem é," a song that dominated Brazilian airwaves throughout 2011.

Continuing his success, Costa’s 2012 studio album reached the top 10 in Brazil’s charts, demonstrating his consistent appeal. The following year, he explored a more acoustic and intimate sound in a São Paulo-recorded project, collaborating with notable sertanejo artists such as Cristiano Araújo and Di Paullo e Paulino. Between 2014 and 2017, Eduardo joined forces with fellow singer Leonardo in the *Cabaré* project, reviving classic raiz sertanejo music through two DVDs and an extensive national tour.

One of Costa’s most memorable hits, the lively track "Sapequinha," held the number one position on Billboard Brazil for ten consecutive weeks in 2015. With a career spanning over fifteen albums, Eduardo Costa has consistently delivered chart-topping songs including "Olha Ela Aí," "Coração Pirata," and, more recently, "Ainda Tô Aí" from his 2020 DVD *Fora da Lei*.
