About She's Got Brass

She’s Got Brass stands as London’s trailblazing all-female 10-piece brass ensemble, celebrated for its electrifying blend of a dynamic rhythm section and an eight-member horn lineup that includes standout instruments like the tuba and baritone saxophone. Rooted in diversity and inclusivity, the collective proudly reflects the rich cultural mosaic of London’s LGBTQ+, Afro-Caribbean, and Latina communities.

Since their explosive debut, She’s Got Brass has taken the UK festival circuit by storm, delivering packed performances at iconic events such as Glastonbury, Wilderness, Boomtown, Bristol Harbour, and Shambala. Their rising profile has also earned them prestigious gigs, including appearances at the FA Cup Final, the Silverstone Grand Prix Formula One Final, the Victoria’s Secret Westfield opening, and the Park Royal Half Marathon in partnership with Sweaty Betty. A highlight of their journey includes sharing the stage with Latin Grammy Award-winning artists at the Natural History Museum.

Drawing from London’s vibrant jazz scene, the ensemble features accomplished musicians affiliated with renowned groups like Kokoroko, Colectiva, Bonita House Band, Seed Ensemble, Neue GRAFIK, Hackney Colliery, and New Regency Orchestra. This fusion of varied musical backgrounds and cultural heritages fuels their innovative sound, pushing boundaries while honoring their roots. She’s Got Brass continues to captivate audiences with performances that are equal parts authentic, groundbreaking, and celebratory of contemporary musical excellence.
