About Uli Sailor

Uli Sailor, a Berlin-based musician and former member of the punk band Terrorgruppe, is revolutionizing punk rock by stripping it down to its raw essence—without the electric guitar. Armed solely with his piano, Uli Sailor delivers an intense and infectious energy, blending the rebellious spirit of punk with the intimacy of unamplified performance. His unique style has captivated audiences across diverse venues, from small youth centers and bars to major festivals like Rock am Ring and iconic stages such as Berlin’s Volksbühne.

Uli first gained widespread recognition with his 10-track cover album, *Punkrock Piano*, where he reinvented punk classics through his distinctive piano-driven arrangements. Building on this momentum, he released the critically acclaimed EP "Für Immer Jung" (2024), showcasing his evolution into original songwriting. This record marked a pivotal moment in his career, leading to over 180 energetic live concerts and growing acclaim within the punk community.

Anticipation now surrounds Uli Sailor’s forthcoming debut album, "Besser Anders," set for spring 2026. The ten-track collection delves into themes of love, loss, conviction, and the indomitable punk spirit. Eschewing distortion and conventional instrumentation, Uli’s performances challenge traditional punk norms, proving that authenticity and passion—rather than electric amps—define the genre’s enduring power.
