About Curses

Berlin-based musician and DJ Curses has established a unique presence in the electronic music scene by blending the nostalgic sounds of 1980s and 1990s underground culture with a vibrant, punk-infused energy. Known for his immersive live shows, Curses frequently collaborates with bassist Dame Bonnet, whose dynamic playing enhances both studio recordings and performances. His discography features two acclaimed albums released on Dischi Autunno, a collaborative LP with the luxury fashion house Saint Laurent, and the highly anticipated album "Another Heaven" (2024) slated for release on the iconic synth-wave label Italians Do It Better.

Curses has electrified audiences worldwide, performing at esteemed venues such as DC-10 and headlining major festivals including Nuits Sonores and Grauzone. His reputation is further solidified by a coveted residency at Berlin’s provocative Pornceptual party and a monthly radio show on RinseFM France, where he curates cutting-edge sounds. Beyond his solo work, Curses is the curator of the influential Next Wave Acid Punx vinyl compilation series and party, spotlighting underground genres like New Beat, early EBM, post-punk, and obscure Italo disco.
