About Trueno

Trueno, a dynamic rapper from the La Boca neighborhood of Buenos Aires, has rapidly risen to prominence as a defining voice in Latin American hip-hop. He first captured widespread attention in 2019 by winning both the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos and Freestyle Master Series, the region’s most prestigious freestyle rap competitions. This early success was amplified by his collaboration with producer Bizarrap, which led to the most viewed freestyle video globally—surpassing even iconic artists like Eminem and Canserbero.

In 2020, Trueno solidified his place on the international stage with his debut album, *Atrevido*, which quickly amassed over one billion streams. His innovative sound blends sharp lyricism with authentic urban influences, resonating deeply with a diverse audience. The track "Dance Crip" earned him a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Hip Hop Song in 2022, highlighting his growing artistic maturity.

Continuing his ascent, Trueno released his critically acclaimed sophomore album, *Bien o Mal* (2023), which garnered four Premios Gardel awards, including the prestigious Gardel de Oro, and surpassed 1.3 billion streams.
