About Burnt Tapes

Burnt Tapes is a London-based indie-punk band celebrated for their high-energy performances and compelling storytelling. Their music seamlessly blends raw punk aggression with catchy, anthemic hooks, drawing frequent comparisons to the emotional depth of Basement and the gritty authenticity of The Menzingers. Over the course of their career, Burnt Tapes have toured extensively, playing more than 200 shows across 20 countries—including the UK, United States, Europe, and Japan—cementing their global presence within the punk community.

Their relentless touring schedule has brought them to renowned stages and festivals such as Manchester Punk Festival, Rebellion, and The Fest in Florida. Along the way, Burnt Tapes have shared the bill with respected indie-punk names like Spanish Love Songs, The Flatliners, MakeWar, and Red City Radio, strengthening their standing among both fans and peers. Known for balancing intense, frenetic energy with memorable sing-along moments, Burnt Tapes craft songs that capture the chaos and catharsis of modern punk rock while delivering authentic narratives rooted in everyday struggles and emotions. This combination of storytelling prowess and dynamic sound continues to earn them acclaim as one of the UK’s most compelling indie-punk acts.
