About Bratakus

Bratakus is a fierce sister duo from the rugged Highlands of Scotland, known for their electrifying blend of punk rock ’n’ roll infused with raw energy and pointed political messages. Their music is characterized by rapid-fire riffs and an unpolished, stripped-down sound that channels genuine anger and relentless passion. Embracing a no-frills approach, Bratakus prioritize authenticity and urgency over elaborate production, creating a blistering punk style that cuts through the noise with sharp precision and defiant spirit.

Their songs resonate with a potent mix of social consciousness and rebellious intensity, making them a distinctive force in the contemporary punk scene. The sisters’ chemistry fuels high-octane performances that electrify audiences, delivering powerful statements through both their lyrics and sound. By weaving righteous indignation with visceral punk rebellion, Bratakus stand out as an unapologetic voice in modern music, proving that raw authenticity and directness remain at the heart of the best punk rock.
