About Dave Hause

Dave Hause, a Philadelphia-born singer-songwriter, has earned acclaim for his deeply personal and emotionally resonant music. Since his 2011 debut album, "Resolutions," Hause has expertly woven intimate storytelling with reflections on broader societal issues. His sophomore release, "Devour" (2013), poignantly explored the pain of divorce, while 2019’s "Kick" expanded his thematic scope to include fatherhood, depression, climate change, and political disillusionment. With 2021’s "Blood Harmony," he celebrated the complexities of raising twins amid the challenges of pandemic life, blending vulnerability with resilience.

Continuing to evolve, Hause’s sixth album, "Drive It Like It’s Stolen," introduces a bold new sound he dubs “post-apocalyptic Americana.” This record interlaces fictional narratives with his characteristic urgency and passion, presenting a fresh take on contemporary struggles and hard-won hope. Throughout his career, Dave Hause has masterfully connected his own life experiences to wider realities such as capitalism and systemic pressures, resonating with audiences who crave authenticity and depth. By bridging raw emotion with sharp social commentary, Hause remains a compelling voice in modern American music, consistently delivering songs that reflect the complexity of the human condition.
