About Mala Gestión

Mala Gestión is an innovative collective of five close friends—Joan, Guille, Elias, Héctor, and Pablo—who have forged a unique presence within Spain’s alternative music scene. United by their passion for experimentation, the group has pioneered a distinctive sound they whimsically call "ñunk," a genre they describe with tongue firmly in cheek as "the music of the future." This playful self-definition mirrors their irreverent approach and underground aesthetic, blending unconventional rhythms with an unpolished, raw energy that resonates deeply with fans.

Rooted in genuine self-expression rather than commercial trends, Mala Gestión’s music reflects their candid, laid-back personalities and authentic urban lifestyle. Their name, which translates to "Bad Management," perfectly encapsulates their anti-establishment ethos, highlighting both their DIY spirit and countercultural stance. From frequenting the metro to embracing everyday habits and camaraderie, the band’s creative output is inseparable from their lived experience, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into their world of experimental sounds and unfiltered honesty.

Since their emergence, Mala Gestión has steadily built a dedicated following drawn to their playful, rebellious vibe and innovative musical philosophy. Their commitment to crafting music they truly enjoy, fused with their raw charisma, cements Mala Gestión as a fresh and intriguing force in contemporary Spanish music.
