About 2NE1

2NE1, formed by YG Entertainment in 2009, emerged as a groundbreaking South Korean girl group that redefined the K-pop landscape with their fierce attitude and innovative sound. Comprising four dynamic members—CL, the charismatic leader known for her sharp rap and vocal skills; Bom, whose powerful voice commanded attention as the lead vocalist; Sandara Park, recognized for her unique vocal tone; and Minzy, who brought exceptional talents in both rap and singing—the group represented a bold new wave in the 21st-century music scene. Each member honed her craft through extensive training, ranging from two to five years, which shaped their distinctive artistry and stage presence.

2NE1’s music blended dance-pop and electropop with a fearless fusion of Korean, English, and Japanese lyrics, expanding their global appeal. Their debut heralded a “New Evolution of the 21st Century,” as they pushed creative boundaries with an edgy, futuristic style and electrifying performances.
