Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, professionally known as Swae Lee, hails from Inglewood, California, and is best known as one half of the Southern hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd. Developing a passion for music around the age of eleven during his formative years in Texas, Swae Lee immersed himself in production and audio mixing, laying the foundation for his distinctive sound.
