About SPFDJ

SPFDJ is an Amsterdam-based Swedish DJ and producer who has emerged as a vital force in contemporary electronic music. Her journey began in the underground scenes of London and Berlin, where she developed a fearless and emotionally charged style she calls "Tendercore." This unique sound blends elements of Latincore, hardgroove, UK hard house, and trance, creating electrifying, boundary-defying performances that have captivated audiences worldwide.

In 2025, SPFDJ released her debut EP, "Heel Thyself," on her own label, Intrepid Skin. The five-track record offers an intense exploration of personal healing and creative introspection, while also rallying women and queer communities to challenge oppressive systems. That same year, she launched Motherlode, a global event series that showcases her uncompromising curatorial vision.

SPFDJ holds a residency at Berlin’s renowned Herrensauna and has delivered a legendary Boiler Room set, celebrated as a quintessential example of raw, high-energy club culture. Her influence extends beyond live performances through residencies on NTS and Rinse FM, as well as a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. She has also championed forward-thinking artists like VTSS, Nene H, MarcelDune, and Valerie Ace via Intrepid Skin.

With appearances at major festivals including Glastonbury, Dekmantel, and Primavera Sound, and performances in global hotspots such as Santiago’s Fiesta Dame and Seoul’s FAUST, SPFDJ stands as one of electronic music’s most dynamic and uncompromising voices.
