About Wine Lips

Toronto-based Wine Lips emerged in 2015 as a collaborative project between vocalist and guitarist Cam Hilborn and powerhouse drummer Aurora Evans. What started casually quickly evolved into one of Canada’s most dynamic independent rock bands. Known for their fierce and energetic blend of psychedelic garage punk infused with ’90s rawness, Wine Lips has earned international acclaim and a devoted fan base.

Their 2021 breakthrough album, *Mushroom Death Sex Bummer Party* (2021), solidified their reputation, earning more than 250 enthusiastic reviews and surpassing 45 million streams. The album’s lead single, "Eyes," became a standout track featured across films, TV shows, and video games, while the vinyl edition saw seven pressings with nine vibrant color variants, underscoring its cult appeal. Building on this momentum, Wine Lips followed with *Super Mega Ultra*, recorded in Ontario, delivering twelve high-octane tracks that push their psychedelic punk sound into bolder, more adventurous territory.

In 2024, their fifth album *TV Dinner* introduced “Projector,” the lead single marking Evans’ electrifying debut as lead vocalist. This release channels key influences such as The Hives, Osees, and Teengenerate, sharpening their signature sound into something even more blistering and razor-edged. Lauded by Iggy Pop as “Now that’s what I call music!” and praised by *Exclaim!* as “pure adrenaline,” Wine Lips continue to fuel their relentless touring across North America, Europe, and Asia—cementing their legacy as a trailblazing force in the global garage punk scene.
