About The Pretty Reckless

Formed in New York City in 2008, The Pretty Reckless quickly emerged as a powerhouse in modern rock music. Their debut album, "Light Me Up" (2010), produced by the late Kato Khandwala, laid the groundwork for their distinctive blend of gritty, hard-hitting rock with dark, introspective lyrics. The band reached new heights with their sophomore album, "Going to Hell" (2014), which broke into the Top 5 on the Billboard 200. This record yielded three chart-topping singles— the gold-certified "Heaven Knows," "Fucked Up World," and "Follow Me Down"—making The Pretty Reckless the first female-fronted group since The Pretenders in 1984 to score three number-one hits on the Mainstream Rock Songs chart.

Continuing their streak of success, their third album, "Who You Selling For" (2016), featured the single "Take Me Down," which propelled them to become the first band ever to send their first four singles to number one on the same chart. With over half a billion streams globally, The Pretty Reckless have earned critical acclaim from outlets such as Vogue and Nylon. Their dynamic live performances have graced iconic platforms including the "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Conan."
