About Mr. Mister

Mr. Mister is an American pop rock band that emerged from Phoenix, Arizona, in 1982, quickly becoming one of the defining acts of 1980s music. The quartet consisted of Richard Page (vocals and bass), Steve George (keyboards), Steve Farris (guitar), and Pat Mastelotto (drums). Their sound was a sophisticated blend of rock, synth-pop, and rich vocal harmonies, perfectly capturing the emotive spirit of the decade.

The band’s breakthrough came with their 1985 album *Welcome to the Real World*, which solidified their place in music history. This record featured two No. 1 Billboard hits, "Broken Wings" and "Kyrie," both celebrated for their introspective lyrics paired with sweeping melodies that resonated deeply with audiences worldwide. Additionally, tracks like "Is It Love" showcased Mr. Mister’s knack for crafting emotionally engaging and thoughtfully produced songs.
