About Nova Twins

Nova Twins, the pioneering British duo formed in 2014, have rapidly reshaped the modern rock landscape with their bold fusion of alternative and rap rock. Comprising Amy Love and Georgia South, the band is celebrated for their raw, authentic instrumentation—eschewing synthesizers entirely—and their innovative use of guitar and bass, which they manipulate through elaborate pedalboards. This distinctive sound, paired with inventive vocal techniques, sets them apart as true innovators in contemporary music.

Emerging from the UK’s independent scene, Nova Twins quickly gained acclaim for their electrifying live performances, captivating audiences at major festivals like Glastonbury and Japan’s Summer Sonic, and sharing stages with rock legends including Foo Fighters, Muse, and Bring Me The Horizon. Their groundbreaking approach has drawn praise from music icons such as Tom Morello and Elton John.

Nova Twins’ impact transcends music alone. Their 2022 Mercury Prize nomination marked a historic milestone, as they became the first Black rock band shortlisted for this prestigious honor, further solidifying their cultural significance. Continuing to push creative boundaries, Nova Twins are set to release their eagerly awaited third album, "Parasites & Butterflies" (2024).
